Who we are
Caliche (“Caliche,” “we,” “us”) sends Texas commercial build-out leads to businesses by email and, for people who opt in, by text message. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers getcaliche.com, our emails and our text messages.

What we collect
When you sign up or change your settings: your name, company, trade, service area (counties or a ZIP code and radius), minimum project size and other filters, and your work email. Your mobile number is optional and only needed for text alerts.
When you opt in to text messages: a record of your consent: the exact consent text you saw and its version, the date and time, your IP address, your browser’s user agent, and the page where you gave it.
When you pay: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a record of the payment and your billing details, but not your full card number.
When you use the service: the leads you claim, credits, settings changes, and messages you send us.
When you visit the site: our analytics are cookieless and count visits in aggregate. Our forms use spam filtering.
How we use it
- To send you leads that match your trade, area and filters, by email and by text if you opted in.
- To run your account: settings links, claims, credits, billing and account notices.
- To answer you when you contact us.
- To keep the service working and secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve it.
- To meet legal obligations, including keeping records of consent.
Text messages
We text you only if you check the separate text-message box on our signup form. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, up to 3 per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers we use to deliver messages, such as Twilio.
Business contact data in our leads
Our leads include business information about people who work at companies moving into new commercial space in Texas: name, job title, work email and work phone, and the company they work for.
Where it comes from: public project registrations filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), company websites, public business directories, and an email-verification service that checks whether an address can receive mail.
Why we use it: so vendors who serve new offices can reach the person who hires them. Our Terms require buyers to follow CAN-SPAM, the TCPA and other laws when they make contact, and forbid reselling lead data.
How to be removed: use our removal form or email support@getcaliche.com. We add you to our suppression list so your details aren’t sent in future leads.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell subscribers’ personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Caliche, under contracts that limit their use of it: website hosting and forms, payments (Stripe), email delivery, text messaging (Twilio), cookieless analytics, and email verification.
When you claim a lead, we deliver that lead’s contact details to you. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
Cookies and analytics
We don’t use advertising cookies. Our site analytics are cookieless and don’t identify you. The site uses your browser’s session storage for one thing: smoothing the transition between pages. It holds no personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is active and as long as we need it afterward for billing, legal and tax records. We keep text-message consent records as long as we need to show that consent was given. If you ask us to remove your details from our leads, we keep a minimal entry on our suppression list so we don’t add you again.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including limiting access to the people and providers who need it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure.
Your choices
- Email: unsubscribe in one click from any email.
- Texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Settings: change your trade, area and filters from the link in any email.
- Access or deletion: email support@getcaliche.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Caliche is a business service for adults. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we’ll tell subscribers by email.
